Dear Valued Community Member:
We are rapidly approaching that time of year again when Elma High School organizes their annual Food Bowl. The Leadership Class and ASB Officers are spending their time preparing for this event and working hard to ensure that 2011 is a successful year. Food-Bowl kick-off will begin on December 5, 2011 and the closing weigh-in is December 15, 2011. Last year, Elma was successful in raising 18,520 pounds of food and $18,935.85 accumulating to a grand total of 56,392 pounds. This year our goal is to substantially surpass the previous year as there is always an increased need. The students at EHS want to have a positive impact on their community. In order to do so our high school is reaching out to local businesses and community members for their support.
In previous years, EHS has asked the local businesses to become involved and support the less fortunate. This year we want that to be more emphasized than ever. Every donation makes a difference. Donation options would include:
- - Monitory Donation
- - Product for the Silent Auction
- - Basket for the Basket Bingo Night on December 7th
As a courtesy follow-up during the weeks of December 5th through December 15th, the EHS Leadership Team will be personally reconnecting with businesses about contributing to the cause. Any food bowl contribution can be delivered to the EHS Fiscal Office Secretary Brenda Krausse or be sent to:
Elma High SchoolAttn. Julie Crawford
