- Thanks to everyone that helped make the Chamber dinner such a success. A special thanks to Cindy Peabody of Peabody's Paradise Pizza for making the VFW Hall look so wonderful! The Winners were: Business of the Year 1st place - Rain Country Restaurant, 2nd place - McCleary Timberland Library, 3rd place - McCleary Subway. Volunteer of the year 1st place - Tammie Wales, 2nd place - Brycen Huff, 3rd place - Cindy Peabody. Special Service award went to Sherry Huff of the McCleary Post Office for 7 years of service to the chamber.

McCleary, located at the very eastern edge of Grays Harbor County, Washington, is the gateway to the ocean beaches. A quaint, friendly little town, McCleary offers all kinds of goods and services for people who live in the area or people who are passing through to the beach, the Olympic Rainforest, or to the larger cities of Olympia, Tacoma and Seattle.
McCleary is best known for its Bear Festival, which just celebrated its 52nd anniversary in 2011. The festival, which is held in July, coincides with other fun events like an antique and muscle car show and a Fun Run. If you’re heading through town on your way to a weekend getaway- stop in McCleary for a bite to eat, groceries, entertainment, or fuel. McCleary chamber members also offer great services such as bookkeeping, auto repair, healthcare services, a post office, and MUCH MORE! Cut your errand running time in half!
