It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas……
BEAR FESTIVAL is preparing for our Annual Santa Breakfast which will be held on Saturday, December 3rd from 8-11am at the VFW Hall. We are hoping that Chamber members will show their support again by decorating a Christmas Tree for our Silent Auction. The Trees will be on display and used as decorations during the Breakfast. The theme of the tree is up to you! We will have a total of 16 trees this year. 11 trees will come with stands, the remaining 5 trees will need to have stands provided along with decorations.
Last year the Christmas Trees raised $380 for BEAR FEST. It was a fun morning and the bidding was quite entertaining. Thank you to the 2010 supporters: Port Blakely Tree Farms for donation of 5 trees, Mark Reed Hospital Foundation for donation of 1 tree, to Dr. Arima and Staff, Sterling Savings Bank, Precision Plumbing, Rain Country, Subway, Bears Den and Paradise Pizza for the beautiful trees you created with your decorations.
We would like to give these businesses first opportunity to participate again. Then signups will be on a first come first serve basis. Fill out the form below and return to BEAR FESTIVAL via Bronze Snake Tattoo or by mailing to PO Box 408 McCleary, WA 98557. Please feel free to partner up with another business if you wish.
The Bear Festival will present a 1st, 2nd & 3rd place trophy for the top 3 businesses whose tree raises the most money. Trees will be delivered to the VFW Hall the week before the event (Nov. 29th-Dec. 1st) Volunteers will be "Decking the Hall" Thursday, December 1st and Friday, December 2nd. You may join us then to decorate your tree.
